She is so going to hate the camera.....

Who could live a day without naked baby pictures? Well, she's not quite naked but she sure does love her diaper time.

Loves to cuddle anything fuzzy and soft.

Megan has learned where her head is. We're working on her nose.

She might be 24 with a blankie. Know anyone like that?? :)

I can actually see my baby pictures in this picture. I think I'm starting to see more of me in her. It's pretty cool.

While mommy left the room she found the remote!

And started talking to it. Hello?

Pretty baby!

Pampered Chef Update!

A lot of you have been asking how my Pampered Chef business is going and the answer is REALLY WELL! I've been picking up more bookings which is exciting. I really would love to quit my j-o-b before the start of a new summer there. I still need help with your word of mouth so please refer, refer, refer!! If you even hear the mentioning of Pampered Chef throw my name out there! Remember Stoneware is 20% off in January! Plus an extra 10% if you're a past host!

Thanks for all of your love and support!

Jace's Birthday Party

Danielle planned Jace's party at Myles Away Cafe in Sherwood. It was really cool, a little coffee shop for the adults and a play area for the kids. Megan had a great time exploring all of the new toys. Seems like a great business idea, wish we could do something like that out here. Oh look and there's empty retail space down the street!

Anyway, we had a really good time. Jace had a John Deere party and was a birthday cowboy! See his little boots? Cute.

This little girl spotted the birthday cake, walked all the way over to Jace and sat there like a baby bird with her mouth propped open waiting for droppings. Momma's girl.

Play Date with Natalie and Jace

Of course I can never just pick out one or two pictures so here are a bunch. Sheila heard about a place in McMinnville called The Church on the Hill. It has a gigantic indoor play structure for 'big kids' and a 'tot lot' for kiddos Megan's age. It was pretty neat. She had a great time and was soooo tired when we left! I think we need one of these little houses for our back yard.

Megan really liked the slide, she would scootch her butt down until she would finally go and land in my arms. Pretty cute.

Josh's hunting trip

Josh went elk hunting with Jay last week. Unfortunately they didn't get anything but it looks like they had fun trying.

The suffering of camp food.....

Megan is Walking!

For all of you that guessed 13 months - you were right!
She's not completely walking everywhere, she still depends on her crawling skills but she's practicing a lot. It's pretty funny. Sometime she'll start walking by herself and then look at us to see if we're looking, in which case we have to clap and say "Yeah! You're such a big girl!" And she grins really big. I would say about seven is the most steps she's taken and lots of stuff in between.

No pictures, just an update....

Josh left for elk hunting on Thursday so that means the girls are on their own. Just in time for teething. I'm not sure what's going on but Megan was really mad today at pretty much everything. She barely slept, so that meant I barely slept last night. I've never seen her so mad. She screamed when she was colicy and first born but add 1 year old attitude and will into the equation and you have one tough little girl to deal with. I feel so bad for her because I don't know what to do for her except Motrin/Tylenol/Anbesol.

Josh called tonight to check in. I was sort of hoping that he wouldn't because I knew I wouldn't have much good news to tell him when he asked, "How was Megan today?" I don't want him to feel bad or helpless but I'm sure he did a little. And since Josh is gone that means that Grandma and Grandpa are going to be watching her while I work. I hope she is good for them!

Poor little girl!

Pumpkin Guts

So, I thought I had a great plan. Instead of taking Megan trick or treating which she wouldn't understand anyway, I thought we'd open up a pumpkin and let her play in all of the guts and she'd have a grand old time. Well, she didn't really want anything to do with it. We got her naked, plopped her by the pumpkin and tried to get her interested. I'm not sure if she was scared or if the guts were too cold or what but she didn't enjoy it as you can tell in one of the last pictures. She was done after about 5 minutes and then it was bathtime.

Halloween Party!

Megan and I went to the mom's group Halloween Party. Princess Megan got to see all of her little friends all dressed up. They were so cute!

Princess Megan looks like a glowing angel thanks to our flash!

Jace the little Lion

Natalie the Bumblebee

Keaton the Sherriff!

They probably all wondered what the heck was going on but they all did really well. Afterwards we invaded Red Robin, about 7 moms and babies!
