Tee Ball Awards Night

(Pardon the greasy lens, a pizza fingered Joshua grabbed it and I didn't see the damage until after!)

Megan had a great tee ball season and had a lot of fun.  The kids were all very nice and I think she had a great first experience.  The coach had a lot of patience too!  Megan couldn't wait for her awards night.  She couldn't contain her excitement over being awarded a trophy! She waited with much anticipation when the they were being handed out, she was beaming! 

Finally she got her hands on one!  Her coach gave hers out last and said, "Last but not least, our All Star Megan!"  She caught a lot of attention because she is quite good for her age but I think it had something to do with her being a girl.  There were lots of little boys that were pretty good too.

Preschool Graduation

The great catch up begins again.  Megan graduated from preschool (for real this time) at the end of June.  She'll be headed to kindergarten in a little more than a month now.  It seems pretty unbelievable.  She was very proud to be the one to hold the flag for the pledge of allegiance this year.

 She also loves to curtsy.

 Her job this year was to read from a book.  As you can see from the picture below, it wasn't really reading but she enunciated the words as if she was sounding them out and really doing it. "Theee froooog iiis greeeeennn."

 Her teacher Lizzie giving her all of her awards and diploma.  I think she'll have a good jump on kindergarten and it hope it will be an easy transition for her.
