Who is This Kid?

I have no idea where she got this from. All of the sudden she was bowing for a job well done drumming. We had to have her do it again to get it on video.

ROCK BAND

We had a family Rock Band evening tonight. It was quite entertaining to watch as you will see by the videos! Megan even got into it with her drum and then Daddy was sweet enough to let her play with him. She really loved that.

Megan LOVES Jon!

Josh concentrating!

Sweet Dada let Megan play the drums with him.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

A few people from high school coordinated an "alumni gathering" of sorts in Sherwood the day after Christmas. It was an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party that I tried to refuse to spend money on. But Kmart called out to us and we snatched us some snazzy sweaters. We had a good time, seeing people from long ago and catching up.

Christmas Dinner at Aunt Terri's

We had Christmas dinner with the whole Guffey side of the family for the first time in a very long time. It's been awhile since we'd all seen eachother in general. Megan had a lot of fun playing with the little kids that were there and of course she was the center of attention. There was a lot of stuff going on and Megan was a really good girl the whole night. Of course, all she wanted to eat were treats and she was starving on the way home but other than that, it all went really well. She had a very late peanut butter and jelly sandwich last night before she went to bed.
The kids exchanged presents and Sophie got Megan a cute little shirt and a puppy on a leash that she can walk. She really loves it.

Trisha and Caleb

Megan wouldn't leave Harley alone. He is my cousin Christopher's dog. He is so sweet and was so patient with her. She loved playing "with" him. And she had to cuddle with him while he tried to sleep on the floor.

Off to Grandma and Grandpa's House

We got through Megan's Santa presents quickly enough that we could make it to breakfast in Tualatin. They had to wait for us for a bit but we made it. Afterwards, we opened all of our family gifts.
Megan got Elefun from Tami and Devin...
...a spinning top with a train inside from Grandma and Grandpa...
Grandma got a digital camera (finally) from all of the kids...
Here is a book that Stacy got Megan and a little Cabbage Patch baby and horse.
Kelly got her some books and an Elmo Farm toy.
Tami got Pampered Chef dessert plates and a stand to go with them.
Grandpa got a digital photo frame for his desk at work.
And Megan had the most fun playing with a gift card box and money to shake!

Santa's Visit

Between Christmas Eve and Christmas day, we took 161 pictures! Here are some of the best - hard to choose!
We had to wake Megan up on Christmas morning! She woke up around 11p.m. the night before and said, "Santa?" I had to tell her that he hadn't come yet and she needed to go back to sleep....and she did. We woke her up around 9:00 so we could get to the excitement!
Santa took a bite out of the cookie and drank the milk that Megan left. She kept pointing at it and saying, "Santa?"

Couldn't let a good cookie go to waste!

Santa left candy canes on the tree and she was sure to find them and point them out.

Megan's loot from Santa.

Mickey Mouse plate, bowl and big girl cup!.....

......a Magna Doodle...

I think this was a hug for Santa. At one point she pointed at the door and said, "Thank you!" She must still think that Santa comes in through the door!

So excited!!

A candy cane from her stocking...

...tootsie rolls...

...what else??

Megan got an art easel with a chalkboard, whiteboard and drawing paper. Here she is tracing her hand!

Showing off her Elmo slippers.
