Locks of Love

With all the stuff going on with Lesly, I've been trying to rack my brain on ways I can help. Depending on the treatment they decide on, she could possibly lose her hair...again! That made me think of the massive amount of hair that I have that I find quite annoying and complain about all the time. So I thought, why not put it to good use! My cousin Trisha did the cutting and here's what it looks like now. We got two ponytails about 12 inches long and thick enough for TWO people it seems like. No person should have that much hair! Anyway, I love the new cut and it's so easy to do. Thanks to my pregnancy, my hair is really naturally curly now. I think you can call me a "Wash n' Go Girl!"

Who Knew?

We've had this in the garage for some time, thinking she wouldn't be interested in it anymore. Who knew!

Visit from the Aunties

Yep, she's styling in Aunt Kelly's Uggs. Somehow Megan appears to have gotten a knack to 'clean up'. It's definitely not from me, and I don't necessarily think it's from Josh but more of a chance I guess. Anyway, Kelly's boots were by the couch and Megan thought that they needed to go where all of the other shoes were in the kitchen and moved them. Kelly took the opportunity for some pictures. Pretty cute.

Counting Aunt Kelly's tip money. Teach 'em young, we say.
I can't tell if this picture is good or not. I think she kind of looks a little crazy but I can't get over the color of her eyes in the picture.

Easter Basket

This is our little Megan one year ago on Easter! Pretty amazing! It is ridiculous how different she is and how much bigger she has gotten. So many changes in so little time it seems.

Here is Megan's Easter 'Bucket'. We had a late night Saturday night so the Easter Bunny arrived a little late and Megan finally got to see it after she ate breakfast. She had a lot of fun opening the eggs. They were filled with Goldfish crackers and fruit snacks. She did get TWO chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies though that she loved! She had one then and another a few hours later. She's definitely a chocolate lover! She also got some silly string that she and Daddy thought was funny to spray the photographer with.

Jaxon's 2nd Birthday Party

Jaxon turned 2 this week and we went to his party on Saturday. I think it went really well and Billie did a great job. Of course they went above and beyond and had most of us stay for barbecued dinner too! It was really yummy! Our first spring/summer BBQ!
This is Jaxon's surprised face as Pat brought out his last present.

And there it is - a tricycle!

And of course Megan had to try it too!

Billie got some fake snow at the Christmas Bazaar and let the kids do some egg hunting in it. They had a lot of fun. Megan was very interested in the candy but in the end, put it all back.

Megan cleaning up. She always has to give it to someone. Pretty cute.

Cute!

Coloring Easter Eggs

It dawned on me a couple of days ago that we would be able to color Easter eggs with Megan this year. We definitely prepared for it. I thought we'd be able to do it outside but after a hefty hail/rain storm, we made other arrangements. Garbage bag over the table and newspaper over that and lots of paper towels! Mommy wasn't paying attention once and got orange dye all over her leg and foot. And now my fingertips are greenish brown! Hopefully it won't last long! We had so much fun. Grandma and Grandpa came to watch Megan too. She loved it! She even got to see was vinegar tastes like!

What's going on with my fingers?
All done guys!
Finished product.
