3 Toddlers at the Zoo

Megan and I were meeting Sheila and Jen and their kids at the zoo yesterday. Josh decided yesterday morning that he could go with us too! It was a great day, more chilly than we'd hoped but it was dry! We got to see the baby elephant for the first time and the polar bears who are always hit or miss for some reason.

Megan didn't get to go into the petting zoo last time either but she did this time. I had Josh go in with her because I have no idea what those animals are capable of and what to protect her from. He had to keep her from kissing and hugging them.

Valentine Cookies

The plan was for Megan to decorate cookies last week but it never happened so even though we're a tad late, we thought she wouldn't care a bit. She had such a good time. Every once in awhile she would get distracted by the M&Ms but she would continue decorating. (As you can tell by her messy face.) And again, the perils of having a digital camera...there are tons of pictures. I've only posted about 1/4 of them.

Helping Mama

Megan loves to help me do anything and everything. She especially loves to help in the kitchen. Anything she can pour into a bowl is fun, fun, fun for her. Today she helped me make banana bread.

Playdate with Hunter

Jeff, Bobbi Jo, Hunter and Dylan came over on Saturday to visit. Hunter had fun playing with Megan's toys and Megan had fun trying to play with baby Dylan. Here they are having a little snack together.

Darlene and Grandma Schwartz also came over to visit for a bit. Darlene brought Megan her Christmas gift delayed by the snow. Megan cuddled up with it that afternoon.

We had a playdate at Sheila and Natalie's house last week. The girls had a lot of fun together. They play really well together and are so cute!

Happy Valentine's Day to Me!

I came home from work on Friday night to find my favorite flowers on the table and I was so happy. When I got closer I realized there was a little bit more inside! Josh got me the wedding band that matches my wedding ring. When we picked it out, I was happy with it by itself. It didn't have a band that matched it and that was fine......but then they came out with one that DID match! I'll post as pic soon!
