Unfortunately our dogs aren't as patient with Megan as we would like. They still remember the "only child" days. Anyway, when we get up in the morning, they usually go immediately outside. If we don't it turns into a game of chase with Megan wanting to touch/pet/kiss the dogs and the dogs doing anything they can to get away from her. Josh will sometimes get down on the floor with all of them to referee the situation. We tell the dogs if they acted like this all of the time they could be indoor dogs again. It doesn't sink in.
Megan recently figured out the pedal function on the garbage can. She used to open it with her hands but she must have seen Josh and I doing it and realized she could too. Always learning!

Maybe the yucky weather will help the dogs learn to be indoor dogs again! I'd rather put up with a toddler than the cold rain!
Watch out - I find the weirdest things in our push pedal garbage can and Jace's diaper pail. He likes to stash stuff there!
