The Forest Grove Fire Association was putting on a corn roast on the University Campus and since I am always looking for ways to get the kids out of the house, especially during hunting season, we went to check it out. They had local business booths, a stage for local dance companies to put on a show, fire and police! Oh, and ELMO! I thought my kids were going to have a heart attack when he walked up!
Megan checked out the police car but Mister was much more interested in the fire truck! He set off the alarm on an oxygen tank. Oops.
And of course the CORN! It was yummy!!
While we were eating Megan found a lady bug. She helped Mister so that he could "hold" it. Check out his cool fire truck tattoo on his arm too!
