It was about 8 years in the making but we finally got a girls weekend back at the beach. The three of us have known eachother since the 3rd grade (them for longer). It's been a rocky road, a walk on the beach, a rockier road and finally a walk on the beach. We have all grown and changed and evolved over the years. It feels really good to be in the place that we are now though. We had a great time in Lincoln City with GREAT weather and lots of girl time. We did some shopping and I think did more damage for our kids than for ourselves, but that's the way it should be right!? I got to sleep in, the morning girls patiently waited for me and then we went about our relaxing days. I'm glad we got the time to spend together after all of this time.

Next time it should be friends that you've known for third grade and those you met at Providence in 2007 that start with the letter D in Seaside! :o) Looks like a beautiful trip - glad you got some time to yourself!
