Rylan has been asking to go fishing everyday we've been here but either we're doing something else or the weather hasn't permitted. Yesterday was beautiful and got to be around 62 degrees (scorching). So last night after dinner - at 8:40 p.m. - we all hopped in the car and went to the mouth of the Nome River. It is just a few miles down the coast. It looked like it might be a good night because there were a lot more people there than usual, we thought everyone had heard that they were biting. Right now they are waiting for the "silvers" to come in. Only a couple of people got any bites but the kids still had fun trying and Megan had a lot of fun throwing rocks into the river.
Here's Daddy and Megan walking towards the river.
Pretty cute.
Just sitting by the river!

I love this picture. Keep in mind it's probably around 9:30 and the sun is high in the sky.
My handsome husband! After fishing, we got in the car and decided that we'd take a drive further down the coast. Well, by that time it was 10:15! We went out onto a back road going across the tundra and Rylan got to drive!

I need to kiss Megan's cheeks, they are so cute!!
Ms. dizzle I had to laugh when I read your comment because that is exactly what I was going to say. That Megan's cheeks needed to be kissed by Grandmama and that she also looks like a sleepy girl.
24hrs of daylight... how's that going? That has got to be rough. Is Megan doing ok?
I LOVE the picture, that is your favorite, of Megan sitting around 9:30. I love her face, she looks so angelic, and precious! LOVE IT!
