Isabeau is 12 and Rylan is 9 and they have been great with Megan. She has been pulling them back and forth, wherever she wants to go and they go right along with her. She has had so much fun playing with them and I'm sure she's going to miss them when we go back home. The below picture is a house that Rylan built for Megan out of a box that they got in the mail that day. All of their shopping for the most part is done online because there isn't a whole lot in town to get. Also, everything here is a lot more expensive! A gallon of milk is $7.49! A 12 pack of Diet Coke is $10! A box of diapers from Costco in Oregon is $39.99 and they have the same box at a store here (not Costco) and they want $67.55 for it!
Here is the view from Karen and Vern's back deck. Josh built their deck too when he came up here last in 2000. I guess the reason it was so worthwhile for Karen's friend to get us up here for Josh to build their deck is because it is really hard to get jobs done in the summer. All of the construction companies are busy getting as much done as they can outside so that they can work in the structures on the inside during the winter. Not many people want to take a small job like building a deck.

Holy Cow!! I would really be poor if I lived in Alaska!! :) I'm glad that Megan gets time to play with her cousins!
I won't complain about buying diapers ever again!
WHOLY COW!!!! That is rediculous. I have 2 kids in diapers now, and i can't imagine a bill that is double that price! WOW!!!
