While we were fishing, some friends of Karen and Vern's showed up and told them that they saw a grizzly bear down the road a few miles. When we were done we jumped in the car to see if we could still see the bear. After some searching, we found the grizzly bear and THREE CUBS with her. It was pretty amazing. We had to use binoculars to see them but our camera was able to get a few good pictures - making them look at lot closer! It was so neat and really a once in a lifetime experience. I wish Megan would have been able to see them but that would have meant that they were a lot closer than any of us would be comfortable!! We're teaching her what a grizzly bear says now.

Wow! That is really neat! I've only seen bears behind cages, so what a neat experience.
