While Josh and Vern were building the deck, we took a drive to the beach. Here's Megan with Isabeau's sunglasses.

Gold miners set up camp on the beaches during the summer. I haven't taken a picture of their set ups yet but here's a clear view of the beach. It is covered with really fine sand and shiny rocks in all different colors.
This is a dredge used (and abandoned) years ago for gold mining.
